What we’re looking for

HEKA Insights is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Media Analyst to join our dynamic Media Intelligence team in Cairo. In this full-time role, you’ll analyze media content, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to our clients. If you have strong analytical skills, a passion for media research, and the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Apply quantitative and qualitative research techniques to measure media impact and evaluate communication strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive media evaluation reports, summarizing key insights and recommendations for clients.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored media intelligence solutions, and support decision-making.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize media monitoring and analysis tools to collect, process, and interpret data effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience in media analysis, market research, or a related analytical role is preferable but not essential.
    • Candidates without direct experience are encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate strong analytical aptitude, a keen interest in media research, and high motivation to learn.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with media analysis tools, data visualization software, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data analysis and reporting.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Language Skills:
  • Native or fluent English: Essential.
  • Fluency in one or more European languages: Preferable.
  • Fluency in other languages: An advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications/background in media analysis, data analytics, or digital media.
  • Software Knowledge: Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Industry Awareness: Up-to-date with media trends, public relations, and digital marketing best practices.
